Buena Vista Auxiliary Presents:

A Toast to Tutoring

2010 Fundraiser Overview

Buena Vista Auxiliary is hosting its annual A Toast to Tutoring fundraiser to benefit the Buena Vista Tutorial Program, an early-intervention literacy program for elementary school children in Contra Costa County. The tutorial program has helped over 2,750 children improve their reading skills in a private, differentiated learning environment. Without this help, these children would fall further behind.

Buena Vista Auxiliary is thrilled to be hosting this year's ATTT at Round Hill Country Club. The event will feature wine tasting, seated dinner and silent and live auctions.

Our fundraising efforts support 300 children in our program annually. This year, considering the tough economic conditions and budget short-falls, our goal is to serve as many children as need reading assistance. ATTT is the auxiliary's primary fundraiser, generating more than 80% of our funds for the year through ticket sales, sponsorships, silent and live auction proceeds, and cash and in-kind donations.

We rely on the generous support of individuals, small businesses and corporate sponsors, and direct 100% of the proceeds to our tutorial program.

Be a part of this extravaganza!
